Our opening hours have changed due to Covid-19. For the time being, orders will be packed and posted Wednesday - Friday. If you place your order Saturday - Tuesday it will be processed within 24hrs window between Wednesday - Friday. Please note that as this issue is changing day by day, domestic postage times may change if Austraila Post or Sendle apply any restrictions.

International shipping to certain countries has been delayed or suspended via Australia Post. Please see here for a list of countries that are effect by this.

SHIPPING

 

Information about your order

All orders are processed within 2 business days and sent from our Brisbane shop front using Sendle & Australia Post. Please note that standard and express shipping provides you with a tracking number, but does not provide signature on delivery. 

 

Order tracking

Once shipped, a tracking number will be emailed to you. While we do our best to ensure the order gets to you in the time frames indicated below, we can't guarantee your item(s) will arrive by a certain date or time. 

 

Local pick up - Brisbane only

Our local pick up option is a free service available for customers wanting to collect their order from our store located in Brisbane, QLD.

Once your order is place you will receive and order confirmation email followed by a fulfillment email within 2 business days. Your order will be ready to collect any time after you receive order fulfillment email, and between our shop hours.

We send domestic orders via Sendle who charge per volume. To allow for these shipping charges, our shipping is priced per volume of package.

Standard shipping | Clothes, toys, beauty, accessories or orders that are smaller than a shoe box size  | 2–7 business days

Standard shipping | All orders the size of a shoe box, but less than bulky  | 2–7 business days

Express shipping | Clothes, toys, beauty, accessories or orders that are smaller than a shoe box size  | 1–2 business days

Express Shipping | All orders the size of a shoe box, but less than bulky  | 1–2 business days

We currently do not offer express shipping on bulky items. If you'd like a bulky item sent express, please contact us at thecommonthreadstore@gmail.com for a quote.

Local pick up | Must be able to pick items up from our shop front in Brisbane

If you would prefer a "no-contact" pick up, please state this in the note section at check out, along with a prefered pick up time, and your package will be left on the front stairs during business hours.

The local delivery service is valid for any orders with a delivery address in the following areas -

Bulimba, Balmoral, Hawthorne, Morningside, Cannon Hill, Murarrie, Hemmant, Tingalpa, Wynnum & Manly.

Delivery times frames are before and after shop hours. If you have a prefered time, please note this at time of checkout. If you would prefer a "no conact" drop-off, please also state this in notes at check out, along with a  safe drop point for your package to be left.

Please note that if you choose a "no contact" or "authority to leave" drop-off, once the packafe is left in your preferd location we are not liable for any missing or stolen packages. Once drop off is made, we will send you confirmation along with an image of package cia text message.

DUTIES AND OTHER DELIVERY FEES

When purchasing from THE COMMON THREAD STORE outside of Australia, your order may be subject to your countries import duties, taxes and/or customs fees (summarised as Duties).

As we are unable to control the Duties payable, we request you take care in knowing the cost of these Duties prior to purchasing from THE COMMON THREAD STORE. You will be responsible for paying these Duties either at the point of delivery or after delivery.

Your local customs office will be the best source of information to help you understand the payments and process. THE COMMON THREAD STORE will not be able to advise you whether Duties will apply to your order or the amount for paying Duties.
